Policies
This page outlines the specific rules and expectations for all Toronto Jet-Ski operations. Our policies are designed to ensure safety, fairness, and the best possible experience on the water.
1. RESERVATION & PAYMENT POLICY
Deposit: A valid credit card is required to secure your booking.
Full Payment: The remaining balance is due at the start of your session. We accept major credit cards and e-transfers.
Passenger Surcharge: A $50 fee will be applied for any second rider (friend, spouse, or partner) sharing a single PWC to cover increased fuel costs and insurance.
2. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
Customer Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be rescheduled at our discretion.
No-Shows: If you do not arrive within 20 minutes of your scheduled start time, the session will be cancelled without a refund.
3. WEATHER & WATER CONDITIONS
Safety First: We monitor Lake Ontario’s conditions closely. If weather (lightning, high winds, or heavy rain) makes riding unsafe, we will notify you as early as possible.
Rescheduling: In the event of a weather-related cancellation, you will receive a 100% credit toward a future session. We do not offer cash refunds for weather, as conditions are beyond our control.
4. RIDER REQUIREMENTS
Age & ID: All operators must be 19+ with a valid government-issued photo ID.
Sobriety: We have a Zero-Tolerance Policy for drugs and alcohol. If an instructor believes a rider is impaired, the session will be terminated immediately without a refund.
Weight Limits: For safety and machine performance, the combined weight of two riders must not exceed 400 lbs (181 kg).
5. EQUIPMENT & DAMAGE
Inspection: You will inspect the PWC with your instructor before departure.
Responsibility: The primary rider is responsible for any damage caused to the equipment through negligence, speeding in no-wake zones, or failing to follow instructor’s commands.
Safety Gear: Transport Canada-approved life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times while on the water or the dock.
6. ENVIRONMENTAL & LOCAL RULES
No-Wake Zones: Riders must maintain “No-Wake” speeds (5 knots or less) within 300 meters of shore and inside the Toronto Harbour.
Wildlife: We respect Ontario’s ecosystems. Harassing local wildlife or littering in the water will result in an immediate end to your session and a permanent ban from our services.
